Compliance Officer, In-House legal counsel
Nghi is responsible for SPARK compliance with FCA rules and other legal obligations. Nghi is a qualified solicitor, having been admitted on the roll in England and Wales in June 2007.
Prior to SPARK, Nghi was the Compliance Officer at venture capital firm, Quester. She trained and worked as a solicitor at a major commercial law firm, DLA Phillips Fox, in Australia, specialising in mergers and acquisitions.
Nghi has Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelors of Laws degrees from the Australian National University.
Satu’s role as financial controller includes the preparation of management and statutory accounts for companies within the Spark group, assistance in the year end annual reports, maintenance of banking, fixed assets, purchase and sales ledger functions. In addition Satu is responsible for quarterly and annual reports for three partnerships managed by the group.
Satu has a BA Business Studies (Economics) degree and is a CIMA qualified management accountant. Prior to SPARK Satu worked as a finance officer at Tchibo Great Britain Ltd, a retail and coffee shop chain.

William has been with SPARK since 2006. He manages an RMB fund in China and is actively involved in helping UK companies access Chinese capital.
Rory Mounsey-Heysham is a tech, business and creative enthusiast, and an entrepreneur. Rory founded two businesses aged 18 and 22 (exited 2013) and holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh.
Rory has had stints in investment banking, journalism and micro-finance at J.P Morgan, The Economist and Project Avanzar. Aside from work, Rory enjoys physical challenges and has bicycled from Russia to Scotland, walked across Europe, and failed to break two world records for youngest and fastest row from Australia to Africa.
